My ASOS addiction is getting out of control. I’m stuck in the order/next day delivery/receive big box/rip big box open/inevitably return stuff that doesn’t fit cycle. I’m well and truly STUCK. The people at the Post Office must think that I have relatives that live at ASOS HQ. For every piece that gets sent back though, there are two pieces that have me in absolute awe. These boots if you’ll remember from this post, are actually the most comfortable shoes I own. A more recent purchase is this absolutely awe-inspiring suede skirt that I bought in the colour ‘chartreuse.’ The fit is so absolutely perfect that I’m thinking of buying it again in burgundy.
I’m laying the foundations for such a wacky look with this lovely basic white tee I was sent by Canadian brand Spikes and Arrow. This gorgeous tee is made of 70% bamboo (!!) and 30% organic cotton and it is the softest basic ever as well as being hypoallergenic and super sturdy.
I’m into my final week interning at Manc Frank PR…well that went fast.
I would definitely say that Public Relations is not my forte: the arena of phone call-making is filled with tigers, and while some people I know – like Jaye – have adequate weaponry to battle them, I’m sort of just stood there with a sandwich.
Why can’t I get my words out when someone endlessly grumpy picks up at the news desk of a local newspaper? I don’t know why, because if I were to meet them in real life, I’d be having them doing what I wanted within minutes. But on the phone? I may as well get Ziggy, the office dog to make the call. Here are some day-by-day pics from my last week, including that Frederick’s mint chocolate Ice Cream the size of my face (find this amazing parlour at the Chill Factor E!)
